Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite fairy tales, and for a long time the Disney animated movie was my favorite version. Once upon a time I found myself wondering what would happen if the prince didn’t turn the old woman away that stormy night… and then I wrote the book, gender swapped.

Well, you know, kind of. I adapted it to my own fairy tale world where I already had stuff going on. But that’s the concept it started with. This one is my favorite book in this series so far. But other than Book 2, I can say that for each new book in the series I write. Ha. Give me a couple days and Book 4 will be my favorite.
